Q. I’ve created an Excel file with about twelve columns of data, and I do this regularly. I find that I need to resize the column width so that I can see all the data in the cells quite often. Is there any way I can streamline that?

A. Excel has a function that will resize the columns widths for all your columns automatically, and to the width necessary for each column. It’s a formatting command called AutoFit Column Width. It can be found on the ribbon bar Cells section, Format, and then choose the drop-down menu list.

You can do the same for cell height with AutoFit Cell Height.
