Running with a Full-size Window
Q. I like to work in
Excel using the full screen size of my
monitor. When I open excel, it seems that I
always need to “maximize” the window in order
to do this. Is there any way I can set it so
that it always opens full screen?
A.
This is a trick that you can use with any
program to have it open in full screen size,
not just Excel.
On your ‘desktop’,
right-mouse-click on the Excel icon (for
example), and then choose Properties. Change
to the “Shortcut’ tab. Near the bottom, you
will see “Run:” followed by a selection box.
It most likely shows “Normal Window”. Select
the drop-down list, and choose “Maximized”,
and then OK to finish.
That should do
the trick! |
