Double-space versus Single-space
Q. I recently switched to using a newer
version of Word. I was using Word 2003.
Now ehn I type paragraphs I get double spacing
instead of single spacing. How can I get
back to single spacing all the time?
A.
There was a change in the Word
“Styles” from version 2003 to 2007/2010.
There is a way to make 2007/2010 use the style that you prefer.
Here’s how:
On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click Change Styles button.
Point to Style Set, and click Word 2003.
In the Styles group (same button as above), click Change Styles, and then click
“Save as Default”. That will make
the change permanent.
